We have a magical Bilby to distribute our Easter goodies! Bilbies are cute but endangered native marsupials and sales of the chocolate bilbies help to raise funds to preservation projects. Wikipedia reports that no major supermarket has sold Easter bilbies in recent years, however I’ve bought them in Aldi, Coles and Woolworths. You just have to keep your eyes open around 4 weeks before Easter each year. And check the bookstores for the wonderful children's books that explain the story!
