Yeah, currently on the Gold Coast our local City Council has issued a Mosquito Alert and is in the middle of a clearing/draining and spray campaign to minimise the impact. Hopefully this will reduce the biting March flies due any day, too.
And in Tasmania you'll be surprised by billions of unpleasant little roach-like bugs responding to the unusual summer (not any unhygienic conditions).
